I use oil on canvas to paint imaginary leaves from nature. Leaves speak to me in a very special way. I feel that a leaf is like a human being with its own character and personality and when this happens it touches my feelings and emotions. The brilliance, the color and the shape of a leaf are very important to me because it creates the energy and creativity I need to communicate in my art. I want each leaf to be strong, colorful, vibrant and dancing in space and to awaken in my viewer a feeling of joy, solitude and peace.
